3D Patterned Fabric Curtains for a Townhouse Living Room in Bình Chánh

This project was completed at a three-story townhouse in Bình Chánh District, Ho Chi Minh City, to improve the spacious living room with large glass doors opening onto the garden. We faced challenges involving light control, privacy protection, and aesthetic compatibility with the existing classic wood interior.
Space requirements: The living room features a two-tier boxed gypsum ceiling and reddish-brown furnishings in a classic style. The front glass doors have vertical protective metal bars, allowing in abundant afternoon light. The homeowner needed to balance natural light, direct sun protection, and privacy without making the space too dark.
Curtain solution: We installed a coordinated three-layer curtain system. The outer layer is a thick fabric curtain with a 3D floral pattern combining deep green and gray, hung on the main track. The middle layer is a white sheer curtain that diffuses the light. The third layer is a vertical blind for flexible adjustment. The decorative valance features a symmetrical blue-and-gold motif, creating an accent that complements the existing reddish-brown wood tones.
Installation results: The curtains are evenly stretched, with refined folds and tracks running parallel to the ceiling. The joints between the panels are tight, with no sagging or twisting. The printed/embroidered pattern on the valance is sharp and prominent, creating 3D depth without making the space feel cluttered. The balanced arrangement subtly enhances the classic aesthetic. The system operates smoothly, allowing the customer to adjust the light throughout the day while maintaining the living room’s privacy and beauty.
