Black-and-White Double-Layer Curtains for a Masteri Centre Point Apartment in District 9

This project involved installing a double-layer curtain system for a high-rise apartment at Masteri Centre Point (District 9, Ho Chi Minh City)—one of the city’s premium residential developments in the east. The apartment features large glass windows (2.5–3 m high) overlooking the city, with a modern minimalist design, white walls, and polished concrete floors.

The main challenge was balancing three needs: blocking sunlight to protect the interior, controlling privacy from surrounding buildings, and maintaining the aesthetic of the minimalist interior style. The wide, tall windows required a curtain system capable of providing full coverage while still creating a light, airy feel.

We selected a double-layer curtain solution: a black outer layer (for complete light blocking and privacy) combined with a white/cream inner layer (to filter natural light and create a soft brightness when full coverage is not needed). This arrangement allows the apartment owners to adjust light and privacy levels flexibly throughout the day, while the two fabric layers add aesthetic depth suited to the modern space.

The installation achieved a high standard: the outer curtains hang naturally with even, symmetrical folds, without any puckering or misalignment. The fabric seams are straight and clean, and the curtain tracks are securely installed close to the ceiling to maximize the room’s height. The measuring, cutting, sewing, and installation work all demonstrate a high level of professionalism, resulting in a flawless finished project.
