Dark Gray Fabric Curtains & Zebra Blinds – Thao Dien Townhouse, District 2
This project in Thao Dien, District 2 – one of the most upscale townhouse areas in Ho Chi Minh City – demonstrates how smart window treatments can be combined in a modern space.
The space presented a very practical challenge: a townhouse with large glass doors opening onto a lush garden, high ceilings, and elegant interiors featuring a brass chandelier. The homeowners wanted privacy when needed and control over natural light without losing the beauty of the open space. At the same time, the design had to harmonize with the family’s modern style.
Our solution: a combination of solid dark gray (charcoal gray) woven fabric curtains and zebra blinds (horizontal-striped roller blinds). The fabric curtains primarily serve as an aesthetic accent, adding depth to the large glass doors; the zebra blinds flexibly adjust the light for different purposes – letting in enough daylight or providing full coverage when needed. The dark gray color is both elegant and neutral, without competing with the existing interiors.
The installation achieved a high level of craftsmanship: the fabric curtains hang straight without wrinkles, with evenly spaced pleats and a sturdy, warp-free curtain rod. The zebra blinds are perfectly aligned and operate smoothly. The installation details fit snugly against the door frames, creating a neat, finished look. The client was pleased with the balance between functionality and aesthetics, suited to the modern lifestyle of Thao Dien.
