Thanh Vy is hiring a construction surveying and measurement staff member — a position between the sales department and the installation team, responsible for obtaining accurate measurements and assessing actual site conditions to ensure accurate quotations and prevent discrepancies during installation.

Job Responsibilities

After the sales team confirms the schedule, the surveying staff member visits the customer’s home to take measurements, inspect the site, and prepare a measurement form as a basis for the sewing workshop and installation team.

  • Travel to customer addresses according to scheduled appointments and accurately measure window dimensions, stack-back space, and hanging height.
  • Inspect the condition of the ceiling (gypsum, concrete, or suspended ceiling), walls, air-conditioning units, and recessed lights that may affect the curtain track installation position.
  • Record the direction of sunlight, window width, and other factors that may affect the project in order to provide additional advice if the customer needs to change the curtain type.
  • Take photos of the site conditions and prepare a detailed measurement form to send to the sales department and sewing workshop.
  • Discuss the expected installation time directly with customers, as well as the preparations required before the installers arrive.
  • Coordinate with the installation team when the project involves special factors, such as high ceilings or structural obstructions, that require separate handling.

Job Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in construction surveying and measurement or technical work in the interior design or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using measuring tapes and laser measuring devices, and taking clear site photos for reporting.
  • Own a motorbike for traveling independently to survey locations during the day.
  • Careful and accurate when recording measurements, as errors directly affect subsequent sewing and installation.
