Medical Curtains at Tan Tao University Medical Hospital, Long An – An Effective Isolation Solution

The installation of a medical curtain system at Tan Tao University Medical Hospital (Long An Province) was a project requiring high standards of hygiene and patient isolation. The multi-bed room (3 beds), with its large windows, required a curtain solution that would ensure patient privacy while effectively controlling the room’s light and temperature.

The main spatial challenges included a room with a high plasterboard ceiling, a centralized air-conditioning system, transparent glass partitions between the beds, and a polished stone floor that was easy to clean. The curtains needed to be easy to sanitize while providing each patient with complete privacy, without obstructing temperature control or natural light.

The solution applied was a blue patient-isolation medical curtain (thick, medical-grade fabric) installed on a stainless-steel recessed ceiling track system, covering the full height from ceiling to floor. This was combined with beige/cream window roman shades recessed inside the aluminum frames to provide flexible control of natural light.

Installation results: the tracks were securely installed parallel to the ceiling, the curtains opened and closed smoothly without jamming, and the fabric hung evenly without creases or folds. The track system neatly divided the space into 3 patient areas, with secure, firmly attached connections. Patients can enjoy complete privacy while the curtains can be easily cleaned and disinfected according to medical procedures. The project met the hospital’s hygiene and technical standards.

    FAQ

The Tân Tạo Isolation Ward project in Long An Province uses medical curtains for patient isolation and window roller curtains (roman shades). For a 236 m² hospital space, this choice is suitable because the materials need to be easy to clean, antibacterial, and quick to open and close between patient-bed areas.
The cost for a hospital space of approximately 236 m² depends on the actual number of meters of roman shade fabric required. If you are still considering medical curtains for Tân Tạo University of Medicine Hospital in Long An, you can directly compare the two options before making a decision.
The Tân Tạo Isolation Ward project was installed from 15/03/2025 to 29/03/2025, totaling 14 days for an area of 236 m². For a hospital of a comparable size, the actual timeframe usually falls around this range and may take longer if there are many windows or if the ceiling and walls have more complex structures.
If the installation area at a hospital such as the Tân Tạo Isolation Ward already has old curtains or drapes, they should be removed before measuring and installing medical curtains for patient isolation, to avoid overlapping the old curtain tracks, which could cause the pulling axis to become misaligned or result in measurement errors. Before finalizing a solution for medical curtains at Tân Tạo University of Medicine Hospital in Long An, you should view a physical sample to assess the material's surface.
The Tân Tạo Isolation Ward project applies a 24-month warranty to the installed curtain items, calculated from the handover date of 29/03/2025. This information serves as an initial reference for medical curtains at Tân Tạo University of Medicine Hospital in Long An and does not replace an on-site survey.
The Tân Tạo Isolation Ward project covers 236 m². A house or other space with a different area can still use medical curtains for patient isolation; the differences are only in the number of meters of fabric, the number of track sets, and the installation time. An area larger than 236 m² generally requires more days and more workers than the 14 days recorded for this project.
