Blue Roman Shade Blinds for The Western Capital Apartment, District 6

This project at The Western Capital apartment complex (District 6) is a typical example of a modern window treatment solution for an apartment with large windows. The clients were a young family in the Binh Tan, District 6 area who wanted to balance natural daylight with privacy in the evening.

The living space presented a common challenge: the living room and bedrooms had wide windows and minimalist modern interiors, but lacked an effective way to control light. In summer, direct sunlight increased the room temperature; at night, streetlights and neighboring lights affected sleep quality.

We selected Roman Shade blinds with standard blackout lining and anti-UV treatment. The color was light blue combined with beige/cream to complement the apartment’s minimalist style. These blinds offer both high aesthetic appeal and flexible light-blocking capability—rolling up completely during the day and closing tightly at night.

The installation achieved excellent standards: the seams were even and secure, the fabric tension remained stable without sagging, the blackout lining did not show through the outer fabric, the folds were neat and perfectly aligned when rolled up, and measurements were precise for each apartment window. After 8 months of use, the blinds have retained the fabric’s firmness without stains or fading, demonstrating that the fabric quality and treatment technology are well suited to Ho Chi Minh City’s climate.
