Blue Sliding Medical Curtains – Quoc Anh Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City

In 2024, Thanh Vy Curtains completed a medical curtain installation for a multi-bed ward at Quoc Anh Hospital (in the Tay Thanh area, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City). The ward covers approximately 100m² and contains 8–10 beds. Its industrial architecture features a ceiling-suspended cable system and half-height white brick walls—a tense environment requiring a partition solution that protects patient privacy while supporting treatment and hygiene operations.

The main challenge: The beds were positioned close together, and patients needed psychological privacy. At the same time, the curtains had to withstand frequent disinfection (alcohol, water, and UV light) without fading or deteriorating. The track system had to be mounted to the industrial ceiling without affecting the existing air-conditioning system and electrical wiring.

Our solution: We installed blue sliding medical curtains made from matte satin fabric—a specialized material widely used in European hospitals. Blue not only creates a calm atmosphere but also helps conceal stains, optimizing the ward’s appearance. The hanging tracks were securely fixed to the ceiling, with safe C-hooks that allow the curtains to slide smoothly without coming loose or shifting.

Real-world results: After six months of use, the curtains have retained their sheen, with evenly aligned pleats and no accumulated wrinkles. Medical staff reported that cleaning is easy, with no concerns about durability. Patients clearly feel more privacy and are less distracted by activity at neighboring beds. This demonstrates the quality of installation to professional standards and the suitability of the selected materials for healthcare environments.

    FAQ

The Multi-Bed Patient Room – Quoc Anh Hospital project at Quoc Anh Hospital, Tay Thanh, Tan Phu, Ho Chi Minh City uses sliding medical curtains and privacy curtains. For this 100 m² hospital space, this choice is suitable because the materials need to be easy to clean, antibacterial, and quick to open and close between bed areas.
To complete the blue sliding medical curtain installation at Quoc Anh Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, the total investment depends entirely on the actual amount of fabric and the suspended track system. Material prices vary depending on the type of antibacterial fabric and accompanying specialized accessories, excluding the actual installation cost.
For the multi-bed patient room project here, the work lasted from August 31 to September 9, totaling nine days for an area of 100 square meters. Similar healthcare facilities typically have completion schedules around this length, depending on the number of doors and the ceiling structure.
When installing the blue sliding medical curtains at Quoc Anh Hospital, the technical team always completely removes the old track system before taking precise measurements. This helps prevent overlapping tracks from misaligning the pulling axis, ensuring smooth curtain operation and preventing inaccuracies in the actual technical specifications.
For the blue sliding medical curtain project at Quoc Anh Hospital, the warranty period is 24 months from the date of actual acceptance and handover, September 9, 2026. This policy applies to defects involving sewing workmanship, accessory failures, or the operation of the pulling track mechanism, excluding damage caused by external forces during use.
For the project at Quoc Anh Hospital, the sliding medical curtain system is perfectly suitable for large areas. Similar large-scale spaces can also be fitted with this model; the amount of fabric and number of track sets simply need to be adjusted accordingly, and the installation time will be longer depending on the actual workload.
