Double-Layer Curtains for a Phu Nhuan Penthouse: Light & Privacy Control

Penthouse 163 Phan Đăng Lưu (Phu Nhuan, Ho Chi Minh City) is a high-end curtain design project installed by Rèm Cửa Thanh Vy in early 2024. The space is divided into multiple functional areas (bedrooms, living room, and workspace) with high ceilings and large glass windows—ideal features that also present challenges in controlling strong natural light and protecting privacy in a high-rise apartment.

The homeowner requested a curtain solution that would optimize lighting for each room’s purpose while complementing the modern neutral-toned interior (gray, white, and cream) with green and yellow accents. We selected a two-layer curtain system: the outer layer is a solid neutral gray fabric curtain, while the inner layer is a soft cream-white sheer curtain. This setup allows flexible light adjustment—from diffused natural light when working to complete coverage when sleeping—while maintaining a refined aesthetic throughout the day.

The installation quality meets high standards: the curtain folds are straight, evenly tensioned, and wrinkle-free; the length is standard (reaching the engineered wood floor); the track system is perfectly balanced; and the spacing between the two curtain panels at the center is symmetrical. The final result is a Penthouse that is both luxurious and fully controllable, creating a neat and professional atmosphere—well suited to the standards of high-end properties in Phu Nhuan.
